Dalle 14:55 ora locale inizia il primo turno preliminare con 64 sciatori al cancelletto, dopo il primo round i sciatori qualificati saranno 32 sciatori, 32 per la categoria "ladies'" e 32 per la categoria "man", al secondo turno. Dal secondo turno preliminare solo 16 sciatori saranno qualificati alla fase finale, in programma per le 17:00 ora locale.
I 16 sciatori per ogni categoria si daranno battaglia per i quarti di finale, semifinale e per la piccola e grande finale. Questo nuovo format è stato studiato per vivacizzare le gare rendendole più interessanti per il pubblico.
